The Brampton Courthouse and Land Registry Building are both Federal buildings and therefore the local Building Department does not oversee the review of the plans and construction. We were engaged to take on an Authority Having Jurisdiction role to review the architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical and fire protection designs for the project renovations, as well conduct site reviews for the construction. 

Norris Fire Consulting assumed the lead AHJ role for the project and brought in specialty sub-consultants for the structural reviews.

Norris Fire Consulting provided Code Consulting services to the design team for the project and prepared fluid dynamic fire & egress modeling to support the increased travel distances within the 51,500 sqm facility, including the conveyor and processing system.
